For the second year in a row VFW Post 2076 plans to participate in the Punxsutawney Area Community Foundation Day of Giving to be held on November 28, 2023. The picture seen here shows some of the 100 chairs purchased using the donations from the 2022 Day of Giving. Thanks to the community for supporting us in this way. We know that those organizations which use our building as well as outsiders who rent the building appreciate those donations as well.
Our goal for 2023 is to raise funds to purchase a two-door refrigerator to replace the old single door model we now have. Two doors would allow us to use one side for our own items and have the second side available for those other organizations or renters who use our building. We estimate the cost of a new refrigerator would be $2500.
